My April Budget

I’m soooooooooo excited! Can you tell? Guys, it’s almost APRIL, which means its SPRING TIME!! aka my favorite season! Can’t wait for Chella, beach days, wedding season, and bikinis! Ahhhhhhh 🙂 but for now I wanted to talk about my budget for next month! -dread- I have been lacking and slacking so much lately in regards to my finances. I think it may be because I’ve paid my car off and have been slightly going crazy with my purchase! Ekkk! But its time to get back into budgeting and being intentional with my spending and focusing on making more money if I want to spend more. Next month I’m using half of my income to pay regular bills and living expenses and the other half will be saving for Mexico and paying the last $30 on my credit card, which I have been using excessively! So if you’re like me and have been going over way to much, let’s sit down and restart our financial goals!

Events

This month the only major event planned is Coachella, which is already saved for. I just need to finish my Chella shopping and stick to that budget, which I will be showing you guys in an upcoming post!!

Goals

  1. 1. Tracking my expenses, I know I always include this one but I know I really should be tracking how much money I spend, and how much entertainment money I’m actually spending
  2. 2. No make any unnecessary purchases, the only thing I should be buying in April are boots for Coachella and shoes for our Mexico trip.
  3. 3. Use what I have and make it work! * This relates to number 2. I buy new things and don’t use them, I want to make the most of what I have and enjoy and use the things I’ve accumulated.
  4. 4. Have a no spend Saturday

XOXO J
